I'm thinking it was fifteen bucks, but am not sure. There is a sign at the ticket office giving the bus times and price. I got to see Slum Dog Millionaire on one bus trip to the was in Hindi with Spanish subtitles. You'll stop at Playa del Carmen where some will get off and some will get on, then again in Puerto Morelos. I have never done so any time I've used a bus here. There is no need to book the bus ticket ahead of time. The only hassle I've had is when there isn't a bus early enough to get me to the airport in time. When I go back to the US, I always take a bus from Tulum to the airport.
